 What is air borne diseases?  Answer: airborne diseases are those that are caused by Pathogens such as bacteria, viruses, fungi, or other microorganisms that can spread through the air.  For example: Diphtheria, Chicken-pox, whooping cough, measles, mumps and influenza.  Mode of transmission Air borne diseases are transmitted by three ways These are: Droplet infection Droplet nuclei Infected dust Name of air borne diseases Pulmonary tuberculosis Diphtheria Cerebrospinal meningitis Chicken pox Whooping cough Mumps Measles Small pox Pneumonia Common cold Influenza Bronchitis
